Undergraduate Research Project

My research focuses on the analysis of images to predict the properties of electrospun membranes, specifically porosity and air permeability. This involves utilizing computer vision techniques, including texture analysis through the Gray-Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) and Haralick descriptors, to extract meaningful features from membrane images and use Regression models to predict the properties. The project aims to provide a robust predictive model for membrane properties, contributing to advancements in materials engineering and manufacturing.
